For the second consecutive Thursday it is a three match winning streak for your Lady Dragon Volleyball team, all without dropping a set. They are in the Northwest ISD Tournament which any volleyball fan knows, mid August through early September means lots of volleyball matches. Like nine games in a weekend, plus a mid week game on Tuesday.

Your Lady Dragons are now 6-0 on Thursdays this season while dropping nary a set. The team ripped through Ursuline 25-21 and 25-8 - that's not a misprint. After a small break the Lady Dragons went right back to the court taking on Mesquite Poteet and dominating them by scores of 25-11 and 25-18. But still Aledo loomed. "Title Town" is a school with just as much tradition and pride as SLC. Everyone knew this would be the most challenging match of pool play. Or not - as the ladies ripped off identical 25-12 sweeps.

The Lady Dragons are now 11-2 on the year but only four matches into their nine this week as they face Mansfield Legacy, Austin Vandergrift and A&M Consolidated tomorrow. No rest for teams this time of year.
