Swim/Dive was back in the pool for the first time in 2019 for their final road meet of the season, outside of the UIL State Championship. And ooh what a road trip it was.

The three squads of Lady Dragons and the two squads of Dragons made the journey to the high plains and endured a monstrously long preliminary day of 7 hours of competition. There were 585 athletes involved and 23 teams in a jam packed aquatic center.

Despite the long road trip and long preliminary day the Dragons and Lady Dragons did what they do - taking first place in both the girls and boys competition. The Dragons led the field with a total team score of 690 points while the Lady Dragons placed first with a team score of 742.

The teams were split into multiple squads and all competed well and gained valuable experience.

Stunningly this season is working its way towards its championship portion. There is one non district meet left when the team hosts Senior Night on Thursday, Jan. 10th at the Carroll Aquatics Center. Senior Recognition begins at 6pm and the meet begins at 6:30pm.
