Every win your Dragon Basketball team earns is huge at this point and today was definitely the season's most thrilling win.

It took a little extra time but when you come out with a W, no one really cares if it takes an extra five minutes. The 46-43 victory was well earned against a tough Byron Nelson squad at home tonight and with the victory our Dragons have a playoff pulse. Currently the team is in 4th place with 6 games to go.

The Dragons were led in scoring by Brandon Haddock with 12 points followed closely by Blake Smith and Dylan Hatton both with 8 points. Jonathan Zapinski had a key 7 points while Danny Sommerhalder and Dalton Coleman each had 4 points. And Bryson McDade had a gigantic 3.

The team travels on the road to Fossil Ridge Friday night, Jan. 25th with a 7:30pm tip.
