District 5-6A started with a collision of area girls soccer powerhouses. Two years ago it was the Lady Indians denying the Lady Dragons on the doorstep of state. Tonight, however, the Lady Dragons took a measure of revenge with a 3-0 victory on their home field.

Keller played a tactful game early, choosing to play most of their defenders back to deny the Lady Dragons powerful scoring offense. Just before the half however, Madi Drenowatz found the back of the net with an assist from Taylor Tufts. The second half started just like the first half ended with a goal from Drenowatz, this time off an assist from Karina Owens. The Lady Dragons dominance was finished off by Owen's second assist and Sydney Nobles' goal to conclude the 3-0 victory.

The Lady Dragons, 10-0-1, 1-0, picked up their first district W and the victory train marches on the road to Denton to take on Denton Guyer on Tuesday, Jan. 29th.
