Dragon Basketball extended their winning streak to a season high five tonight with a 41-38 victory on the road at Keller Timber Creek.
Brandon Haddock lead the Dragons with 22 of the 41 points!! Jonathan Zapinski chipped in 8 points.
The Dragons picked up their 7th district victory against 5 defeats which with two regular season games remaining gives them possession of 3rd place in district 5-6A. A reminder at this point that the top four teams in each district qualify for the UIL playoffs.
The Dragons have a huge advantage in that each of the final two games of the regular season will be at the Dragons Den beginning Friday, Feb. 8th when they take on Keller at 7:30pm. The Keller matchup will most likely decide the number three seed as the Indians are just one game back of the Dragons for third.
