Just over a month ago Lady Dragon Soccer suffered their one and only loss on the year and had to listen to chants of "Overrated" ring through the stadium. Tonight the Lady Dragons had a different message. To quote Tom Brady "we're still here."

Denton Guyer entered the match up ranked #1 in the state all alone at the top of the 5-6A table and looking to put away the district title. Thanks to two goals from Taylor Tufts before the break, and another from Madi Drenowatz after the break, and Madi Martin standing on her head twice and reminding us all that this is her year - thank you very much - the Lady Dragons emerged with a 3-1 victory. They now lead 5-6A by a single solitary point. Tonight was a huge 200 feet to be sure but the next 200 are just as important in a district this tight. A road trip to Byron Nelson on Friday night, March 1, leaves the Lady Dragons little time to celebrate a huge win.
