When you are Lady Dragon Soccer and your pedigree includes numerous regional tournaments and a state championship in 2008 ,it is hard to do something your program has never done. But that is what LDS did tonight.

The team clinched the district title with a 6-0 victory over Keller Central on the road. Now you may wonder what is history making about a district title. Well, for this senior class it was their 4th straight, which has never been done before in school history. Congratulations seniors on a momentous accomplishment.

Now for the business of the game itself. Taylor Tufts had 2 goals including the game winner which tonight was the first goal. If it's possible for a HAT TRICK to be understated Madi Drenowatz's tonight was with all the other historical factoids that happened in tonight's match. As for the final line Sarah Hornyak had a goal. And if you are really a statistical soccer guru you are jumping up and down screaming "who had the assists?" So here you go - Sydney Nobles had 3, Kendall Gilpin had 2 and Laney Kimble had 1.

Madi Martin registered her 12th shutout. WOW what a night for Lady Dragon Soccer, 20-1-2 and 11-1-1.

The Lady Dragons will conclude their regular season with Senior night at home on Friday, March 22 when they host Timber Creek.
