Dragon Cross Country got their beach olympic game on this week while traveling to Javelina XC Invite in Kingsville, Tx. Oh wait - I almost forgot - the teams swept the competition this week as both Varsity boys and girls took 1st in Kingsville.

It was a very strong week again for your Dragons and Lady Dragons. It is the 2nd consecutive week that all teams have swept the meet.

The Dragons were led by Grant Anderson who finished in 3rd at 15:55 with Mason Alexander right behind him in 4th at 15:57. Logan Schaunaman came in 6th at 16:08 with Bryan Fernando in 8th at 16:19 and Issac Chavez in 9th at 16:20.

The Lady Dragon's top finisher was Ava Bushaw in 2nd at 19:22, with Nikoleeta Shockley in 5th at 20:11, Maggie Costello in 7th at 20:19, Caris White in 9th at 20:37 and Audrey Dunn in 10th at 20:38.

Carroll Cross Country Head Coach Justin Leonard said "We are so proud of the way our kids competed this weekend...We continue to show our depth as a program."

The team will be competing next at The Woodbridge Classic in Norco, CA.
