Dragon Soccer began their 2020 campaign largely picking up where they left off in 2019. Despite dropping their opening match to Lewisville 2-1 the team rebounded smartly with 2 wins. The match between the Dragons and Central Catholic went double overtime with the Dragons emerging with a 3-2 W.

Playing in the NTXElitShowcase final, the Dragons faced a nationally ranked Grand Prairie squad as the Gophers entered the match at #6 in the nation. The Dragons twice held 2 goal leads in that match at 2-0 and 3-1 before the Gophers rallied back with a late goal to cut it to 3-2 and keeper Adam Paquette made a brilliant save in the match's waning moments to keep the game from going to overtime.

The Dragons, 2-1 overall, face Hebron on Tuesday, January 7th at 7:30pm in their home opener.
