The Lady Dragon Softball team vanquished a former playoff nemesis, Lewisville, in their district 5-6A softball game tonight. At home on Elementary School Night, (the elementary school students are in photo) this night could have also been named Allie Nuenke night. She was the winning pitcher in the circle in SLC's 6-2 victory and pounded out three of the team's nine hits with two RBIs.

SLC, 12-5 picked up their second straight district win to improve to 2-1 in district play. Avery Zeigler and Riley Carter also had multiple hits.

While most of Carroll is on Spring Break next week there is no break for these ladies as they will play three games while the district takes a vacation. They host Flower Mound Marcus on Tuesday, March 13th at 7pm.
