Lady Dragon Softball was on the see-saw tonight vs. Flower Mound Marcus. They fell behind 2-0 in the top half of the 1st, scored 4 in the bottom of the 1st, ballooned the lead to 6-2 and then clung on by their fingernails as Marcus scored 3 runs late. When the roller-coster ride was over your SLC Softball ladies had their 3rd straight district win and their lucky 13th win on the year.

Lady Dragon Softball, 13-5 overall and 3-1 in district play needed every bit of a 4 RBI night from Avery Zeigler. Three of her 4 RBIs came in the 1st inning on a bases loaded 3RBI double and another in the 3rd on a sacrifice fly.

Lauren Long picked up the win in the circle and Allie Nuenke picked up the save.

The Lady Dragons take a brief break from district play to play Mesquite Poteet on Thursday, March 15th at 12:30pm at CSHS and then Decatur on Friday, March 16th at 6:00pm.
