Your Lady Dragon Basketball team accomplished a milestone with last night's 55-48 victory over Byron Nelson.

Last night's win was the 20th on the season. The team is now 10 games over .500 at 20 up and 10 down. You might be saying to yourself - well, that's nice, but why is it a milestone? It is the first time your Lady Dragons have crested the 20 win plateau since 2014-2015. And the nice round 20th win gave the Lady Dragons sole possession of 3rd place with four games left in the regular season.

The Lady Dragons were led in scoring by Jillian Sowell with 27 points - a season high. The team is now 6-4 in district play. The final regular season stretch begins Friday night, Jan. 31st, at home when the ladies take on Fossil Ridge with a 6pm tip.
