Today will go down as one of the most epic in Dragon Baseball history. The day began at 10:30 am this morning with the pre-game broadcast and some nine hours later, nothing is settled.

The Dragons won the first game this morning of the best 2-3 Area round UIL playoffs vs. El Paso Americas, 5-3 to level the series at one apiece after Americas won game one 7-6 last night. They have battled the Trailblazers tooth and nail in the second game which started about 1:30pm. The two teams were engaged in an epic struggle when the skies opened with the Dragons trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the 5th. This was about 3:15 pm and nothing changed at 7PM when the two teams finally decided to call it a day.

So they will resume play in the bottom of the 5th inning with Americas coming to bat. The first pitch of the resumption will take place at 11:00am with Chuck Kelly hitting the air somewhere around 10:45 am.
