Carroll ISD Branding Style Guide

Carroll ISD developed a Branding Style Guide to ensure that all of our branding elements including the trademarked Dragon logo and wordmarks, District Academic marks, typography and colors, as well as athletic uniforms, spirit wear, signage, social media, publications, web design, letterhead and licensed products – all flow from the same consistent brand.

Primary Trademark

The Dragon Logo has been trademarked since 2003 and was registered as a federal trademark with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in 2016. Carroll ISD offers logo licenses to businesses wishing to advertise with Carroll ISD and to those interested in manufacturing and selling goods featuring the trademarked Dragon Logo and wordmarks. *Licensing Agreements made with any business or organization shall not constitute CISD approval or endorsement of any product, service or organization or its practices.

In order to use the district's registered trademarks for advertising or product sales, businesses, groups and organizations must obtain a Licensing Agreement from the district. Internal district groups, teams, clubs and those affiliated directly with our campuses, such as Parent Teacher Organizations and Booster Clubs, are able to use the trademarked Dragon Logo without a logo license fee, but are required to sign the Licensing Agreement. All must adhere to the CISD Trademark Logo Guidelines for Use.
