It is week 2 of tournament season for Dragon Baseball, as the Dragons host a bracket of the Highland Park Tournament for another six game weekend.
Play begins today at 1:30 when the Dragons take on Celina. The Dragons enter with a record that looks like a European Soccer team of 5-2-1 on the season.
Ethan Baiotto is likely to get the start in game one for the Dragons while Jack Fuller is likely to go in the evening game vs. Little Elm at 6:30 pm. Both Dragon starters will be looking to rebound from tough luck losses in week 1 as Baiotto fell in a 4-3 decision to Ocean View while Fuller took a hard luck loss 2-1 vs. The Woodlands.
Several Dragon bats will be looking to stay scorching hot heading into week two of the tournament as Freshman Camden Dean carries a .600 average into the second week. Seniors Evan Robson and Tanner Carson are blazing as well as Robson enters with a .500 average and Carson hits .444 entering play today.
