As Carroll Athletics returns from the holiday break, it is unbelievable to recognize that your Lady Dragon Basketball team is already half way through District 4-6A play. They defeated Keller Central on Tuesday 70-22.

Tuesday night was Senior night in which four seniors were honored prior to the game. Thank you Jillian Hall, Sahasra Kunam, Payton Lee and Olivia Porter for your leadership during this outstanding start to the season and undefeated first half of district play.

The Lady Dragons are currently 8-0 in district as we take a break tonight for a bye and are 22-1 overall on the season. The Lady Dragons are currently ranked #8 in the state and in the victory over Keller Central on Tuesday, Junior Whitney Jense joined the exclusive 1000 point club! Check out this for a stat stuffing line - Whitney had 20 points, 8 boards, 7 steals, and 5 assists!! Wow, not bad work for a Tuesday!

The Lady Dragons will resume district play on Tuesday, Jan. 13th when the team takes on Byron Nelson for a second time, this time at home. Tip time is 5:45 pm at Carroll Senior High Main Gym.
