In a Regional Semi-Final match that spanned two days the Dragon Team Tennis took on and took out #8 Coppell this morning, 10-9, in a 3rd set tie break!

The Dragons began the odyssey of the Region 1 Semi-final yesterday at about 1 pm shortly after arriving in Abilene. Things began normal enough as the Dragons took the Doubles points 4-3 but in between the Doubles and Singles break, the skies opened up. Back to the hotel, everyone, see you tomorrow morning at 8am.

The teams began splitting Singles points all the way up to 9-9. Remember in the post season whoever gets 10 wins. So, the season literally came down to 1 set today which the Dragons won for the 10-9 victory!

On to the Regional Finals at 2:30 pm Today! The Dragons face Allen.
