We have huge late night news into the Dragon sports newsroom. In perhaps the longest day in Carroll Dragon Team Tennis history the Dragons had to begin the day by resuming the Regional semi-final match vs. Coppell and hung on to win that 10-9 in a 3rd set tiebreak! And then they had to turn right around after eating a Snickers and play Allen at 2:00 pm in the Regional Finals.

Since Carroll and Allen can't meet in the playoffs without drama the match lasted 6 hours with Carroll holding on for a 10-8 victory and cementing their spot as Region 1 Champions!

For the 2nd time under Head Coach Corey Aldridge and assistant coach Abby Mahlmann your Dragon Team Tennis team is headed for the UIL State Tournament next Wednesday in San Antonio!

Great job Dragon Team Tennis
