Top FIVE - in the STATE!! Dragon Wrestling made their longest road trip of the season this weekend when they traveled to El Paso for the State Duals and again proved they are a top five program in the state of Texas.

The team finished 5th at the THSWCA Dual State Championship with an incredibly exciting final match win over Katy Cinco Ranch. In what may be a first for Dragon Wrestling the match was actually tied at the conclusion at 36 points apiece. The victory went to the Dragons on the 8th tie-breaker criteria. Obviously every point, every pin, every technical take down was needed for this great win!!

Way to fight Dragon Wrestling!! The competition at State Duals is some of the toughest Dual competition we will see all year. The team returns home on Thursday - well - at least home to the Metroplex - when they take on Keller Central in the Keller Central Duals on Thursday, Jan. 17th at 6:30pm.
