It its the third straight year these two teams have matched up in the area round. The Dragons won a one game playoff, 8-0, on their way to the 2022 State Championship. And Americas won a game three last year in a series that we think just finished like five minutes ago.

The Dragons will enter the Area round with a record of 24-11 having just completed a playoff sweep over LD Bell. Americas enters the second round with a record of 25-6 having completed a playoff sweep of Odessa Permian.
