It is a statistical oddity that a team can be undefeated halfway through a regular season and ranked as high as #1 in the nation by one national poll and still not be on top alone in their own district. But such was the case when the Dragons took on Keller tonight, thanks to a tie in their first meeting.

For the first time all season Dragon Soccer is now the clear front runner in district 5-6A with their 2-0 shutout victory over the Indians. The Dragon back line was sparkling tonight, lead by Man of the Match Daniel Williams, pictured above.

Of course even with stellar back line play you have to have a goal score or two or you are just going to end up with another tie. However the Dragons two offensive heroes made sure that wasn't the case. Goals by Preston Myers and Robbie Pino, both in the 2nd half, gave Carroll the victory.

The Dragons are now 15-0-2 and 6-0-2 and head on the road to take on the Wildcats from Denton Guyer on Tuesday, Feb. 26th.
