The District titles keep rolling in. A day after their Lady Dragon Golf Teammates captured the District title, the Dragon Varsity Black team also captured the 5-6A Championship.

Congratulations to the team of Tanner Bevill, Braxton Neiman, Daniel Fuller, Jack Beauchamp and Evan Paquette who fired a total team score of 295. The advancement and title came mostly on the strength of a tremendous Day 2 which saw the team rally two spots to claim the championship. They were in 3rd place entering the day.

Only the top two teams advance to Regionals, so a comeback was needed.

Individual honors go to Jack Beauchamp who was 1st Team All 5-6A. Jay March, Daniel Fuller and Tanner Bevill were honored with 2nd Team All District.

The Region 1 Tournament will be April 24-25 at Tangle Ridge Golf Club in Cedar Hill.
