Its been a very large week with numerous events in the SLC but we would be very remiss if we didn't give a shout out to our dynasty of a swim program which has begun its latest title defense.

After having meets at the Ranger Relays, and a meet in San Antonio and various other stops Dragon Swim/Dive teams traveled on the road last Thursday to take on the Flower Mound Jaguars at the LISD Westside Aquatic Center.

The case can be made that Flower Mound is the toughest competition in Region 2. Challenge accepted and answered as the Dragon Swim team emerged victorious with a total team score of 156 to Flower Mound's 138. The relay portion of the meet was very competitive but the Dragons won the 200 free relay. Congratulations to Ryan Perham, Michael Kietzman, Nick Swafford and Jackson Pogue for their earning a hard fought victory. Individual victories also went to Michael Kietzman in the 50 free, Andrew Fu in the 100 breast and Jackson Miller in diving.

The Lady Dragons also had a strong week as they earned 183 points to the Lady Jags 123. The ladies earned two relay victories - one in the 200 med relay with the team of Hailey Heldenbrand, Corbyn Cormack, Kit Kat Zenick and Riley Francis. The other 1st place finish was in the 400 free relay with the team of Riley Francis, Madelyn Clem, Kate Heintz and Ashley Zettle. Individual titles also went to Riley Francis, Kit Kat Zenick and Ali Ward.

Up next Dragon Swimmers and Divers will compete in a dual meet against Grand Prairie at the newly renovated Carroll Aquatic Center on Tuesday, Nov. 12th.
