The Dragon and Lady Dragon Cross Country teams headed to the Coach T XC Invitational in Denton this week and in typical fashion swept the podium on both the boys and girls Varsity and JV sides.

Head Coach Justin Leonard was very pleased with his teams efforts saying "This meet we a big test for us. We faced some great programs today. We knew we were going against some outstanding runners, and our young men and women competed well. They work very hard all year long so it can pay off on Saturdays in the fall."

The Dragons were led by Antonio Florcruz who finished in 5th place overall at 15:43. Bennet Woolsey was right behind him in 7th at 15:56 and Isaac Chavez in 8th at 15:57.

The Lady Dragons were led by Kayli Cox in 6th at 18:42 and Abigail McIlvain at 18:49 in 8th place and Grace Williamson in 9th at 18:57.

This very compressed regular season concludes next Saturday Oct. 17th when the team host the Southlake Invitational at Bob Jones Park.
