While the nation waits for election results, Dragon Tennis authored a landslide earlier this afternoon at the Tarleton State University Tennis Complex in the Region 1 Quarterfinals.
The Dragons did allow their first point of the 2020 post-season but overwhelmed the San Angelo Central Bobcats in a 10-1 victory. The match would have been 14-1 had it not been stopped under UIL post-season rules.
The Region 1 Quarterfinals domination send the Dragons to the Region 1 Tournament on Friday afternoon vs. Coppell at Birdville. The match figures to be team's first significant test of the post season. It is a rematch of a regular season meeting which Dragon Tennis won 11-8.
