It is a Friday during the summer which usually means no news from us, but...today we have such huge news it just couldn't wait till Monday.

The UIL today officially announced the 2021-2022 Lone Star Cup standings and your Dragons finished on top of the 6A standings. This is the EIGHTH Lone Star Cup for Southlake Carroll and the 131 points obtained by the school this year is a state 6A record for most points ever. On the athletic side the athletic program captured state tiles in boys cross country, boys swimming/diving, girls swimming/diving, girls soccer and baseball. An individual title was won by Bayley Trang in girls Wrestling and the Tennis duo of Brennan Becicka and Bella Andrade captured the title in girls doubles. This 2021-2022 Lone Star Cup is the second for the school in the last three years.

Congratulations to all students, staff members and school supporters. This is a goal we set for ourselves every August and thusly today is a cumulation of 11 months of work.
