On Tuesday the Dragon Team Tennis team made a long road trip to West Texas - note I said the road trip was long. The match was not as the Dragons shut out Wolfforth Frenship 10-0 to advance to the Region 1 tournament.

This year's Region 1 tournament will be held at the Arlington Tennis Center. It was moved from the pre-determined host site at the discretion of the UIL because all four participating teams, Carroll, Allen, Highland Park and Keller are from the metroplex.

The Dragons will play at 2pm on Thursday, Oct. 20th against Highland Park and will enter the match with a 20-2 record and a chance to avenge both losses should both Carroll and Allen reach the regional finals. Both of the Dragon's regular season losses came to Allen in non-district play.
