Team Tennis faced their most daunting challenge of the season today as the only team that had defeated them in a 21-2 season lined up across the other side of the net. Allen is a squad who pretty much booked their state tournament reservations at the beginning of the season. But after the doubles portion of the day was over and Carroll had a 4-3 lead you started to sense it. Today, was our day!

Strong singles play led to a 10-8 victory and Carroll's 22nd victory of the year and now it is on to state. The Region 1 champions will enter with a 22-2 mark in 2022 and await for the state tournament seedings to be announced tomorrow. State semi-final play begins on Wednesday in College Station.
