Dragon Wrestling dominated the mat at the District Meet as they posted 272.5 points, far ahead of Marcus who finished with 189. The Dragons will send 11 qualifiers to the Region 1 Meet and 8 District Champions! Congratulations to all who are advancing to the Region 1 meet at Thomas Coliseum on Feb. 10 and 11.
The Lady Dragons also had a strong meet at the District Meet finishing in 3rd place, just behind Coppell and Trinity. Eight Lady Dragons will advance to the Region 1 meet also in Birdville on Feb. 10 and 11. Among the 8 advancing Lady Dragons is two-time defending state champion Bailey Trang who will be looking for her third consecutive state title.
