The Lady Dragons, 31-3, take on the Coppell Cowgirls, 36-3, at Wilkerson-Greines Activity Center in Ft. Worth at 6pm tonight! The Lady Dragons enter the Region 1 Semi-final on a 23 game winning streak. This is the 3rd consecutive year that the Lady Dragons have reached the Sweet Sixteen! This has not happened for Lady Dragon Basketball since 1990-1993.
The Lady Dragons will be the home team as designated by the UIL bracket. For tickets and parking, click here. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for students. Parking is $5 and is to be purchased at the same time you purchase your tickets in order to avoid multiple processing fees. Carroll guests are encouraged to enter the facility on the west side using C. A. Roberson Blvd, accessed from frontage road of I-20.
Lady Dragon guests are encouraged to enter Gate 2 (southwest corner) and sit in the west stands.
The Region 1 Tournament has a strong No In and Out Policy. This means anybody who leaves the facility will be required to purchase another ticket online. Please don't leave the venue once you are inside.
Food, drinks (including water), signs, banners, noisemakers, thundersticks, clappers, horns, band instruments, whistles, confetti, balloons, live animals, etc., may not be brought into the arena – no exceptions.
Concession stands will be open to purchase food and drinks. Water fountains are also available.
No videotaping is allowed. Spectators will not be allowed to bring video recording devices i.e. camcorders into the facility. Still cameras (without flash) are permitted as flash photography is prohibited.
Guests will be required to pass through metal detectors upon entry. Bag policy is printed on tickets. Guests are not allowed to bring signs, balloons, knives, scissors, sharp-pointed objects or weapons inside the facility. Markers, powders and face/body paint are also prohibited.
The game will be broadcast on the NFHSNetwork.com beginning at 6pm. As most UIL fans know by now the NFHS Network is a paid site requiring a subscription. Once you create an account you can pick a school and tonight's game will be listed under Carroll's upcoming events.
