Technically, the Lady Dragons clinched the District title last Friday night when they won and Keller lost to Byron Nelson. But when you are a defending State Champion with a - ssh - don't tell anybody this - but we have a clean sheet on the year at 23-0-0 going into last night's game - what you do is you go out and dominate Byron Nelson and win 6-2 for your 24th consecutive victory.
And you clinch the District Title outright with a 13-0-0 mark in the league, with still one regular season game left vs. Fossil Ridge, on the road, March 10th at 7:00 PM.
After the Ridge game, the season will reset for a week and a half due to Spring Break and then the team who's season motto is "No points for 2nd place" will aim for title #2.
