In case you weren't following along with us this morning, your Lady Dragons did it again - defeating a very determined McKinney Boyd side - on the strength of three second half goals to win going away from the Broncos 3-1.

Thusly, the Lady Dragons advance to tomorrow morning's Region 1 finals. The Region 1 finals are also known as the state quarterfinals and for the 13th time in program history the Lady Dragons have advanced to the Elite 8. They will be looking for their 7th trip to the state tournament. For the second consecutive day the Lady Dragons have drawn the 10:00 AM time slot. Number 1 ranked Southlake Carroll will face number 2 state ranked Flower Mound Marcus for the Region 1 championship.

The Lady Dragons will enter with a mark of 29-0-0 while Marcus, fresh off today's overtime 1-0 victory will enter with a mark of 23-1-1.
