It is the biggest regular season baseball game of the year, so far, for Dragon Baseball tonight. A funny thing happened on the way to the 4-6A title coronation on Tuesday night. The Dragons dropped a pitcher's dual, 3-0 in 9 innings to Byron Nelson and as such created a mess at the top of the district standings.
So here is where we set going into play tonight. The Dragons and Keller are now at the top of the district standings, back in a tie at 9-2. And Nelson sets in 3rd place just one game back at 8-3. Which means the Dragons can leave tonight's game either in a first place tie or in third. It all hinges on the outcome of tonight's game at Byron Nelson HS which takes place with a scheduled 7pm first pitch. Of course, the MetroSports pregame broadcast will hit the air around 6:30pm.
If you are headed to Byron tonight, tickets are cash at the door. So like last Friday please remember to bring your cash with you.
Either way, listening online at DragonSportsNetwork.com or there in person, you need to find a way to catch this game tonight.
