Before tonight's Dragon Football season opener, please join us in the stadium at around 7:45 PM as it will be our honor and privilege to have the playing surface at Dragon Stadium become Bob Ledbetter Field in a pre-game ceremony.

For those of you who are new to the district, Coach Ledbetter is a three time state champion as a football coach winning titles in 1988, 1992 and 1993. In 1995 he became the district's full time Athletic Director and was integral in the planning, development and building of new Dragon Stadium where the Dragons have played from 2002 to present.

Coach Ledbetter will tell you that in addition to being the Dragon football coach and athletic director, some of his favorite times serving the district were as a bus driver in the early 90's. No, and I don't mean as the bus driver of the athletic department, he literally drove a school bus!

So, again please honor us with your presence inside Dragon Stadium to honor Coach Bob Ledbetter.
