Dragon Water Polo has never failed to reach the Regional Tournament! Granted the program has only been a UIL sport for two years but they reached the Region 1 tournament on Monday with a victory over Hebron 26-15. And as the saying goes the score looks closer than the actual game felt. The Dragons dominated the first quarter - racing out to an 11-0 lead and led 18-3 at intermission.
The team now advances to its second consecutive Regional Tournament. LISD Westside Aquatic Center will host the Regional Tournament with the semi-finals and finals taking place on Saturday, Oct. 21.
The Dragons will face College Park at 1:30PM Saturday in the semi-finals and the finals will be held at 6:00PM.
