James Brown, Vince Young, Colt McCoy and now Quinn Ewers - this is the pantheon of Big X11 Champions for Texas Longhorn Quarterbacks.

On perhaps one of the best days for the Dragon Alumni Association, Quinn Ewers won a Big X11 Championship in a game called by State Champion, National Champion and Dragon Alumni Greg McElroy.

Now, Ewers, will likely have his chance to compete for a National title - #GoLouisville. Today, Ewers tied a Big X11 title game record with four touchdowns and set a record for touchdowns in the first half in Texas' final Big X11 game ever. The Horns claimed just their 4th Big X11 title in 27 years participating in the conference.

Ewers now takes his place on Texas' Quarterback Mt. Rushmore. This is a start of a great day for Dragons everywhere. Ewers is a champion and Dragon Football looks to take the next step toward a championship. Hook em and see you at Choctaw.
