Dragon Swimmers and Divers had an outstanding Saturday. Eight individual swimmers and two Dragon divers helped push the Dragons near the top of the standings at the UIL 6A State Swim Meet last Saturday.

The Dragons still earned Silver medal position despite a controversial and heavily disputed disqualification in the 200 Medley Relay which would have earned the team bronze medal position. Congratulations to Max Hatcher, Grant Bibza, Colin Woods and Quinn Tyler on an outstanding swim which saw their time improve from the prelim.

In the 200 Free Relay the Dragons earned Silver medal position. Congratulations go to Jack Hernandez, Matteo Palmisani, Alex Schwartz and Quinn Tyler on an outstanding race.

In the 400 Free Relay the Dragons also collected several silvers as Matteo Palmisani, Max Hatcher, Jack Hernandez and Alex Schwartz all maxed efforts to earn Silver in a very competitive race.

Congratulations go to Max Hatcher for earning 2nd in the 200 Free and Matteo Palmisani for earning 3rd in the 100 Fly.

Freshman Diver Jack Ma got his varsity diving career off to a great start earning a Bronze medal at the UIL state meet this year with 480 points earned during the meet. We can't wait to see where your career goes from here.

Senior Diver Nathan Stone also had a very fine day finishing 6th at the UIL State meet earning 466.15 points.

The Dragon Swim/Dive team improved six spots from an 8th place finish last year to a Silver Medal position on the podium this year!!!
