No, your Lady Dragon Softball team is not reminding you that today is the 3rd day of the workweek. They are telling you that they start Round 3 of the UIL Playoffs tonight when they take on fellow 4-6A district mate Timber Creek.

Game 1 of a best 2 out of 3 series will be at Byron Nelson High School tonight at 6:00 PM. Tickets are cash only at the gate. All games will be at Byron Nelson. Game two will be tomorrow night at 6:00 PM and game three will be Friday at 6:00 PM (if necessary).

The Lady Dragons, 30-7, are coming off a series sweep of El Paso Montwood in which they played two vastly different games. Game one was a 3-1 pitcher's dual in which the game was over in 1 hr and 12 minutes and game two was a 14-5 slug fest which saw the Lady Dragons hit multiple home runs.

Also of note - the Lady Dragons swept Timber Creek in regular play this year to earn the second spot in district while Timber Creek will enter the series as the #3 seed.
