It is Game Day in the SLC as the Dragons travel on the road to undefeated Trinity today to take on the 3-0 Trojans with first place in district on the line. Since we haven't been to Pennington Field in a while, some things to know before you go. HEB has a Clear Bag Policy when you can read below. All fans will be required to go through Metal Detectors. Bags
• Clear bags and small clutches are permitted.
No backpacks, large bags, or large purses are allowed. Diaper bags and camera bags are alowed, but must be inspected by staff at the gate. Diaper bags must enter at the same time as the baby. These rules wil be strictly enforced.
Safety & Security
School Resource Officers (SROs) will be in attendance on the field at all football games for their assigned campus. Police officers from local departments wil be in attendance during all varsity football games and stationed throughout the stadium. Any criminal activity should be reported to the nearest uniformed officer.
Metal Detectors will be utilized at both the Home and Visitors entrance gates for al Varsity games. HEB ISD has implemented a new layer of security at the stadium with the OpenGate weapons detection system. Any visitors passing through the detectors showing a positive indication wil be sent to a secondary checkpoint and be asked to empty their pockets and walkthrough again. fI a visitor does not clear the secondarycheckpoint,theywilnotbeallowedaccessintothestadium. Prohibited Items
Pennington Field is school district property -- absolutely no alcohol is allowed in the bleachers (stands), on the field, or ni the parking lots per state law.
Outside food/drinks, coolers, and glass containers are not allowed inside Pennington
Other prohibited items include: Al tobacco products, e-cigarettes, heaters, air horns, baloons, baby powder, sily string, streamers, confeti, or any other objects that are deemed a danger to others.
No weapons. No open carry or concealed firearms are allowed.
