There once was a famous song that said the most random things can happen on an ordinary Tuesday. Sometimes, when you work in high school sports, our version is the most extraordinary things can happen at a weekend tournament, in this case the Knights of Columbus Tournament.

Our favorite head boys basketball coach, David Markley, picked up his 200th career win while going 2-1 over the weekend.

In his second career head coach position Coach Markley has become known as a program builder! He launched the Chisholm Trail program and turned them into a consistent playoff winning program. He is slowly doing the same thing for the Dragons in his 4th season as the team has collected 20 win seasons in back to back years for the first time in more than two decades.
