Dragon Wrestling finished second Saturday at the Region 1-6A meet.

Six Dragons qualified for the UIL State meet, one Lady Dragon Qualified for the State meet and one Lady Dragon will go as a state alternate.

Congratulations to Luke Burgar, Robert Soto, Tyson Gibson, Keagan Sieracki, Carson Ota, Dylan Ota, Cora Hayes and Grace Jose.

A Region 1 wrestling meet is a grueling two day grind against some of the top wrestlers in the state. The Dragon Wrestling team has become one of the most consistent in the state of Texas for the last several years now. We look forward to watching this team compete at STATE Feb. 14-15 at The Berry Center.
