DRAGONS AND LADY DRAGONS SWIM/DIVE DOMINATE IN LUBBOCK

Dragons and Lady Dragons Swim/Dive dominate in Lubbock

You are not the program Southlake Carroll Swim/Dive is without an incredible amount of depth. No where was this more evident than in the first meet after Christmas break which was held in Lubbock, Texas.

Most schools are lucky to have one diver at the elite level, capable of bringing in huge points in competition. This last weekend Carroll took 8 divers to the high plains. All competed extraordinarily well helping the boys and girls in huge team wins.

Southlake Carroll girls finished in 1st place with a team score of 800 with Lubbock in 2nd with 372 points. Carroll boys took 1st place also with 661 points.

On the diving side the lady Dragons placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th in both the 3 meter and the 1 meter. Hailey Hernandez and Bridget O'Neil each took home titles with Hernandez taking 1st in the 1 meter while O'Neil took top honors in the 3 meters. The Dragons also were dominate from the platform as Jackson Miller took 1st in the 1 meter and 2nd in the 3 meter. Phillip Kleiman took 4th in the 3 meter and 5th in the 1 meter.

In the pool Kit Kat Zenick had a very strong week setting a new PR and Meet Record in the 200 free with a time of 1:49.92. She also took 1st in the 100 fly with a Meet and Pool Record of 54.02.

The regular season has nearly reached its conclusion as Senior Night will take place Thursday, January 9th at Carroll Aquatics Center at 6pm as the Dragons take on St. Mark's and the girls have an Intra-squad competition.
