After Friday night's match at Nelson, which felt more like a state final than a routine Friday night match in district, Tuesday's match at Timber Creek had, gasp, none of the usual 5-6A dramatics.
For Lady Dragon Volleyball it was a rather routine 3-0 sweep of the Timber Creek Falcons which was a marked improvement over the first half of district play when the Lady Dragons eked out a 5 set victory.
Tonight, the first two sets were identical 25-20 sparklers of a win and the third set was pretty as well with a 25-21 victory.
The Lady Dragons, (27-10 and 8-3) need every victory at the moment as they currently sit in the final playoff spot in district play. Teresa Dunn highlighted several members of her squad. "Madelyn Grunza, Anna Proskovec and Carroll's young setting core of Mabyn Thomas and Jessica Dunn were all excellent on the evening."
Up next the team honors their seniors on Friday, Oct. 18th at home when they take on Fossil Ridge at 6:30pm.
