Lady Dragon Volleyball fought their way through a blip on the radar the last couple of weeks, struggling against some of the toughest competition in the state. Although, the match against Plano West was closer than the 3-0 score indicated, Lady Dragon Volleyball's match vs. Aledo was a much needed tonic.

This roster is inching closer to full health for the first time in weeks. This showed Friday evening at home versus a perennial Regional Tournament team in Aledo. Perhaps for the first time this year the Lady Dragons controlled the match throughout with a commanding 3-0 sweep of the Lady Bearcats.

SLC, 19-7, completed a season sweep of the Lady Cats as they previously defeated them at the Northwest Tournament earlier in the year.

Up next the team makes their final pre-district road trip as they travel to Weatherford on Tuesday, Sept. 10th at 6:30pm. Remember the last time these two squads met the Lady Dragons defeated the Roos 3-2 in an epic Region 1 semi-final match in 2018.
