Lady Dragon Volleyball continued its upward swing on the see-saw this week with the 2nd consecutive sweep - this time over fellow Region 1 tournament participant from 2018 - Weatherford.

This match held none of the drama of the '18 Region 1 Semi-final, however. That match was one fo the more dramatic in school history. Tonight the Lady Roos never led in a set. The closet they came was a tie at 23-23 in set two. Otherwise, the Lady Dragons controlled play winning 25-21, 25-23 and 25-22 to pick up win #20 on the season.

The team is now 20-7 overall. Head coach Teresa Dunn stated that her Lady Dragons were in a good place heading in to district play. "We are maturing and coming together at the right time. We are making less of the mistakes we did at the beginning of the season."

Up next the two game road swing continues Friday, Sept. 13th when the team takes on Eaton at 6:30pm at Eaton High School.
