After having a heart stopping week last week, tonight's victory over Keller Fossil Ridge was much needed.

The 3-0 sweep was over in an hour and did not give LDVB fans the cardiac arrhythmia of last week. After the great and dramatic victory in 5 sets over a rising Timber Creek team at home last Friday, the Lady Dragons made quick work of the home standing Panthers tonight.

"The girls really stepped up to the challenge tonight. We really responded and we were able to work everyone during the match, which is always a great plus" head coach Teresa Dunn stated.

The Lady Dragons were the first match finished in 5-6A play tonight so we can't truly give an updated district standings at this point but we know the Lady Dragons will enter the match on Friday night with district co-leader Keller no worse than one game back of the two leaders.

The Lady Dragons are currently 23-8 overall and 3-1 in district. Up next is another 5-6A challenge when the team hosts the aforementioned district co-leading Indians at home at 6:30 pm on Friday, Sept. 27th.
