Lady Dragons win 4-6A Swim/Dive Championship. Dragons take silver!

The Lady Dragon Swim/Dive team captured the 4-6A title on Saturday morning advancing 25 of 36 potential swimmers to the Region 1 meet in Midland in two weeks.

The Lady Dragons captured gold medals in both the 200 medley and the 400 free relays while finishing second in the 200 free relay.

The Lady Dragons took first place with a total team score of 199 which was more than 30 points ahead of second place Keller.

The meet got off to a wonderful start for the Lady Dragons as they swept the 4-6A Diving Championship on Thursday. Natalie Stubbs took the individual title followed closely by Regan Evans in silver medal position and Melina Michaelides finished in bronze for the podium sweep. Sophia Borowski finished just off the podium and will also advance to the Region 1 meet.

The Dragons also had a very strong day in the pool finishing second at the 4-6A meet. They won the 200 medley relay and finished in silver medal position in the 200 free and 400 free relay. They will advance 21 of a possible 36 swimmers to the Region 1 meet in two weeks. The Dragons will advance two divers to the Region 1 meet with Nathan Stone finishing in 2nd place and Jack Ma finishing in 4th.
